Clamshells

1. Gravel. Crushed clamshells make an excellent pathway.

2. Paint palette. Use as disposable paint containers for small projects

3. Garden trowel. A large clamshell is an ideal tool for transplanting.

4. Jewelry holder. Glue small shells onto a large shell and use as a decorative container for pins, chains, and earrings.

5. Plant drain. crush shells and use the fragments for drainage when repotting a houseplant

6. Seafood casserole. Cook and serve miniature seafood casseroles or deviled crab in them.

7. Winchimes. Punch holes in shells, then run monofilament through them, knotting it to keep them evenly spaced; attach several strings of shells to a small piece of wood and hang.
